Brock Bundy began his professional career in 1986 as a broker with Tullett Tokyo and Greenshields after completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Ottawa, where he was a member of the university’s Vanier Cup football program, and post-graduate studies at the Université de Paris-Sorbonne.

In 1988, he joined Royal Bank of Canada, where he held a series of progressively senior roles in both Canada and Japan until 1998. From 1988 to 1993, he worked within RBC’s Capital Markets division as an institutional trader, including serving as a senior trader in Tokyo. In 1994, he joined RBC’s Corporate Banking group as a corporate lender and became part of the management team responsible for the national delivery and distribution of specialized financing and operating structures for investment management firms, mutual fund companies, and pension plans.

Since joining VRG Capital in 1998, Brock has combined his capital markets and banking background with extensive private investment, operating, and governance experience. His work has included evaluating and overseeing investments, supporting corporate financings and restructurings, advising management teams, assessing strategic alternatives, and helping portfolio companies strengthen financial discipline and operational execution. Through his work with both private and public companies, he has developed deep expertise in financial reporting, liquidity management, capital structure, stakeholder communications, board governance, and the financial leadership required to support growth, turnaround, and value-creation initiatives.

Brock’s public company governance experience includes serving as a director, senior officer, and committee chair with issuers including TRUBAR Inc., Globalive Technology Inc., Greenfield Financial Group Inc., Tintina Mines Limited, NSR Resources Inc., and International Health Partners Inc.. His responsibilities as Chairman of several audit and governance committees reflect his long-standing focus on financial oversight, internal controls, public market accountability, risk management, and disciplined decision-making.

In addition to his public company experience, Brock has served in several non-public governance roles, including as Chair of the Board and President of The Toronto Hunt Club. He also serves as an independent member of the investment committee for Fiera Capital’s private debt platform, providing oversight of investment decisions relating to multi-billion-dollar credit exposures.

Brock is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), a Certified Management Accountant (CMA), and holds the ICD.D designation from the Rotman School of Management Institute of Corporate Directors program. He is also a past member of the Association for Corporate Growth, the Turnaround Management Association, the Commercial Finance Association, the Association of Canadian Pension Management, and the Investment Funds Institute of Canada. These qualifications complement his executive, investment, and board experience and support a leadership profile grounded in finance, governance, capital markets, and operational judgment.

Brock has received several distinctions throughout his career, including the Governor General of Canada Award for Bravery on December 16, 2004.
