Mr. Egan has been a Family Office Partner at VRG Capital since 2013. In 2004, Mike co-founded Real Matters, which has grown to be a leader in Property Information Systems and is one of the fastest growing private companies in North America. Prior to that, Mike founded InSystems Technologies. InSystems grew to be one of the largest providers of Document Management Solutions, with over 400 customers in 24 countries.

InSystems was sold to the Standard Registry Company in 2002. Mike started Mica Data Systems which became the leader in Insurance Administration Systems in Canada. Mica Data Systems was sold to FRI Systems in 1987. Michael is a graduate of the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Mathematics.
