Patrick has been Managing Director at VRG Capital since 2010 and has been associated with the firm and its principals since 2000. He has extensive experience raising capital, launching new products and services, developing strategy, and executing M&A to support growth in both private and public companies.

Patrick has held senior leadership roles in several VRG Capital companies, including Adrem Inc., a privately held Canadian company focused on the over-the-counter (OTC) and nutritional supplements markets; Wheels Group, a leading North American third-party logistics provider; and Thomas International Ltd., a global provider of behavioural assessments and training.

He currently serves as a director of Edesa Biotech (NASDAQ: EDSA), a clinical-stage biotech company focused on inflammatory and immune-related diseases.

Patrick is an advisor to Jouleia Inc., a start-up accelerating the transition to low-carbon homes, and a cofounder, advisor, and former board member (2016–2023) of Together Project, a Canadian non-profit supporting refugee integration. He is director at Faith & The Common Good, a national interfaith network that helps local communities become more sustainable, energy-efficient, and resilient. Patrick has served as a trustee of Lakefield College School since 2012.
